When Charlie’s mom first called me up to chat about newborn photography, she was already 38 weeks pregnant. Why me? I asked. After all, there really are tons of newborn photographers in Arlington, much less in the Washington DC area as a whole.
I found you on Pinterest, and then I went to your website, she said, and I liked how you provide different views of the newborn babies you photograph. When I went through your newborn photography, I liked how you included the parents, and then the parents’ perspective of looking at the baby, and then different angles and poses of the baby.
And when I asked her how she envisioned displaying Charlie’s newborn photography, she told me about how she’d love to have a set of 3 canvas gallery wraps to go over Charlie’s crib. In the end after their photography session, and after seeing samples of all the different print media that I have available, Charlie’s mom picked out her four favorite newborn photos for wall portraits – a 3-piece wall portrait set as she had originally imagined, but consisting of one 16×16 print on metal and two 12×18 canvas gallery wraps, plus a larger 20×30 family portrait printed on photographic paper with a metallic finish, and mounted as a standout for the wall opposite the crib.
Isn’t Charlie just a miracle? So precious! Congratulations to his new parents!
