11-year old Ella dances tap, jazz, contemporary, musical theater, ballet, and, her very favorite, hip hop.  Ella is on a performance dance team, and her 9-year old sister, Kendra, is following in her footsteps.  When Ella & Kendra's mom told Ella that we would be doing this dance photography session, Ella lit up and said, "Really?  You are kidding me!"  I love how excited she was!  And not to be left out, Kendra wanted to be photographed too! 

Just a little bit before Ella & Kendra's dance photography session, I tried out some powder photography with another pair of dancing siblings.  It was so fun and different that I wanted to do it again, and Ella & Kendra were all up for it!  The funny thing is that after our dance photography & powder photography session, the two sisters and their mom immediately headed to dance class at Bella Ballet in the Kentlands in Gaithersburg, MD, while still covered from head to toe in flour!  Even their mom had flour on her, because she was helping to throw it!

We had to include a hip hop theme since that's Ella's favorite, and for that, we headed to the Clarksburg Premium Outlets in Clarksburg, MD.  Then onto a local park for the next set of images plus the powder photography.  Check out some of the stunning favorites from their Clarksburg dance photography and powder photography session!
