It was during her fourth or fifth month of pregnancy that I first spoke with Mara on the phone for her maternity photography consultation. I still remember how she talked about about the nursery that she and her husband have been getting ready for little baby Reagan. “

Yellow with light blue accent walls…all white furniture…a pretty Moroccan pattern on the wall and a little bit of fabric… We want to do some maternity photography in the nursery at our home in Northern Virginia, and some other maternity photos outdoors at a nearby park,” she said.

And there we were… 3 months later… camera in hand… the nursery is so pretty! Oh the love that envelops little baby Reagan even before she comes into the world!

Then we took the wooden “R” cutout off the wall and the little pink baby girl shoes that Mara had prepared as a maternity photography prop, and headed off to the serenely quiet Algonkian Regional Park in Sterling, VA for the rest of their maternity photography session.  Congratulations to this expecting couple!
