It was to be an anniversary couple’s portrait photography session, in celebration of eight years of marriage. They hadn’t had couple’s portraits done since their wedding, plus, Heather confessed to me that she didn’t like hardly any of their wedding photography. Pretty photos that show genuine happiness is what Heather wanted from their couple’s portrait photography session… including photographs that showed off the beautiful architecture of Middleburg, Virginia, one of Matt & Heather’s favorite rustic towns.

And as I photographed them, I observed the sweetness… Matt’s light touch brushing the hair out of Heather’s eyes, his arm drawing her in close… If only every couple stayed this much in love after eight years!

At their “photo reveal”, Heather & Matt chose their five favorite couple’s portraits for a 5-piece standout love grouping to go in their bedroom. The largest art piece in the middle is 20×24″, with the four smaller photographs on the sides 10×10″.
