I mentioned a few months ago in my post about our hike up Sugarloaf Mountain with the O. family that the O’s came to us having bidded on a family photography certificate that we had donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s annual Brewer’s Ball charity auction. In addition to the complimentary 11×14 luster art print that the certificate included, the O’s chose six of their favorite family pictures for a 6-piece love grouping with each piece printed on metal. Pretty snazzy! Below is a photo of the six metal prints waiting to be picked up by the O’s.
Each wall portrait has a float mount block on the back to give both dimension and to allow for easy hanging.
We designed the 6-piece grouping to be hung on a wall in their family room, but I also wanted to show how a smaller grouping like this (just 45″ from left to right) could be used to spotlight the wall at the top or bottom of a staircase. The converging lines of the staircase lead the viewer’s eye right to the wall art, which serves as the focal point.
The O’s wall grouping consists of a 20×30″ family portrait, with two 11×14″s, two 8×12″s, and one 12×12″ square.
Been scouring the internet for Maryland family photographers to photograph your family?
Oh, and we do love giving back, so if you’re involved with any charity events, we would love to donate a family photography and/or boudoir photography certificate to your auction!
