The really great thing about our home design process, which is complimentary with every family portrait session, is that when you send us photos of rooms in your home, then we can drag & drop your favorite family portraits onto your room photos, calibrated to scale of course. Want one large one to fill the space? Want multiple smaller ones in a grouping? Want a black frame? A silver frame? A brown frame? A white frame? Or framless mounting? We can show you what every possibility will look like hanging on the walls of your home BEFORE they’re actually hanging there! Our clients tell me that our home design service really helps them to envision what the final display will look like and make sure it fits their vision and style.
And so when the Ruiz family came over to our Germantown-Clarksburg photography studio after their outdoor family portrait session for their “photo reveal” and home design consultation, we played with a myriad of different options – single images vs. groupings, frameless mounting vs. framed portraits. In the end, they chose the 6-piece framed wall portrait grouping (first image above) with two different styles of black frames. (There they are awaiting pickup in the second image above.) Enjoy some of the other options we explored below!
