There were so many sweet and tender moments, each more memorable than the last, that made Jules & Jocelyn’s Baltimore wedding at the BWI Sheraton Hotel so special. But the ones I remember will stay in my heart forever…memories just as everlasting as their love. The enormous smile on Jocelyn’s face as, escorted by her father, she reached the end of the aisle… The moment when Jules placed the wedding ring on Jocelyn’s hand, then leaned down to kiss it… The moment they were declared husband and wife, and Jules did a little jig, then leaned forward for their first kiss, then leaned back, threw his head back, and laughed… And then there were the fun moments, like when the MC announced the newlywed couple and in traditional West African (Cameroonian) wedding fashion, guests suddenly converged on the middle of the ballroom and began dancing around them, as Jocelyn smiled another passionately wide smile and waved… Like the traditional dance performance by African dancers from Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), in celebration of Jocelyn’s time in that coastal West African country… Like the dollar bills that fluttered over Jocelyn’s head during the money dances. A beautiful West African wedding on a beautiful Baltimore night. Congratulations to the happy couple! And many thanks to all the wedding professionals that helped make this wedding such a fantastically elegant affair (full list below)!
