Everyone in the real estate industry needs great business portraits, and Betty and Charles are no exception. "Why us?" I asked Betty during our first phone call.

"You have the most reviews," she said.  "There were other headshot photographers with only two reviews. You're a little far from us in Ashburn, VA, but I liked the section of your website on professional headshots and business portraits... I work for a builder, and they've asked me for a headshot.  Who knows what terrible headshot they'll send out if I don't get my own professional headshot done."

"I'm not really comfortable being photographed, which is why I've never gotten a headshot done before," she warned me. "I'm not worried," I responded. "That's my specialty - creating headshots of people that they love when these same people usually don't like photos of themselves at all!"

Then she passed the phone to her friend, Charles, an Ashburn realtor. Charles had done business portraits before, and in his past experience, didn't like how the headshot photographer handled the retouching. "They made me look like someone else," he said.

Charles & Betty both preferred outdoor headshots to the standard studio headshots, and so we met up not long later at Rockville Town Center in Rockville, Maryland.
