I have a confession to make. I kind of dislike exercising… but in college, I did really enjoy racquetball, and in an effort to lead a healthier lifestyle, I recently joined a gym and began playing racquetball again. One of the lovely ladies that I met at the gym and who’s become a regular racquetball partner for me is Lynn Fleming of Lynn Fleming Studios, bass player, private music teacher, orchestral conducter, and adjunct faculty at Hood College in Frederick, MD and several other local colleges. Lynn wanted to update her professional headshots, as she’s been feeling that they just aren’t “her” anymore, and so I set up a mobile studio at her home in Damascus, Maryland with a black backdrop. And there Lynn is on the left holding her baton above some sheets of music, and showing off George, her beloved bass, on the right. Enjoy!
"I needed professional headshots for promotional material for my work. Ms. Abdou fit me into her photography schedule within a reasonable time; she arranged that the headshots shoot would take place at my home. Additionally, she provided some information regarding dress/styling that would help the photo shoot go well. As I am not especially photogenic, I don’t love having my headshots taken. (I am usually the one at family gatherings HOLDING the camera, not in front of it!). The photographer, Irene Abdou, made me feel very comfortable. She arrived exactly on time, set-up quickly, and took the photos with seemingly little effort. I was extremely pleased with the results; I had my headshots very quickly. She made me look better than I could have imagined.”
