Have four years already flown by?   It was spring 2011 when I first met Christine at Montgomery Parks’ first Brides on the Bus bridal show.  Our vendor tables were next to each other at the Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood, Maryland -  our booth for professional wedding photography, and hers for wedding & event planning (“Christine’s Beautiful Events”).  We spent the entire day together and really hit it off.  Come 2014, we had a professional wedding photography booth at a bridal show in Rockville, Maryland, and guess who showed up to browse the booths… Christine!  Another year passed before I pressed play on a voicemail, only to find that Christine was engaged and planning her own beautiful November wedding at the Montgomery Country Club in Laytonsville, Maryland!

Christine & Paul envisioned a non-traditional wedding from the start.  Paul would walk Christine down the aisle himself, and for the majority of the ceremony, they would be seated with their best man (Paul’s dad) and maid of honor.  Some 20 singers would sing several hymns for the guests, followed by readings by Christine’s son and Paul’s daughters.  To open the reception, Christine and Paul would thank several people who were the reason that the couple met.  And later on during the reception, Christine and Paul would dance their first dance, surrounded by family member who would hold hands to encircle them.  Oh, and did I not mention?  It would be a country formal wedding with the bride and groom and many guests in boots, cowboy hats, and other country attire.  Christine & Paul would plan this even down to the last detail, and every moment held love and meaning.  Congratulations to this happily wed couple!
