In honor of little Jean-Daniel’s baptism, this beloved little boy’s family – including grandmothers from as far away as Cameroon, West Africa and New Jersey/New York - convened at Alexandria, Virginia’s Founders Park for a family photography session. Later, we went on for a few more photographs of baby and family in front of the beautiful and historic Roberts Memorial United Methodist Church.
Jean-Daniel and family… congratulations on this very special day!
Jean-Daniel’s parents ordered a collage of images on a floating gallery block, pictured below, and it looks awesome! His mom says the compliments have been flooding in. Plus, they just picked up their big extended family portrait, printed on a sheet of metal at 20×30 size (third image below). This image just POPS on metal, and it’s an amazing piece of art! Both gallery blocks and metal prints have become really popular display options because they’re so unique. And after all, a photograph is only as beautiful as the final display!
Gallery blocks are blocks of wood with an image mounted on the backboard and a second photograph mounted on a second smaller block of wood that floats off the first block. Images can wrap around the sides of the wood or, as in this case, a decorative border can be applied to the wrap area.
