Jeff is quite a good hobbyist landscape & architectural photographer. He's photographed some models too, but when it comes to being photographed himself, he's not always terribly pleased at how he looks, he told me. He'd tried to take some selfies with his tripod, but they just didn't look right.
He'd been doing online dating on and off and wanted to step up his game. "I'm reaching out to you because I like your pictures, I've heard of you in the DC photographer circle, and you specialize in dating photography," he said. "I like how you capture people's activities in your online dating photos," he continued.
For Jeff himself, he enjoys hiking, and of course, photography, and we decided to capture those sides of him, thinking that he could also use some of these images as business headshots on his photography website, in addition to on his dating profile. Jeff drove in from Annapolis, MD, and we headed over to Lake Needwood in Rockville, MD, and take a look at what we came up with!
