I recently joined proud parents Liz & John and 7-month old baby Brett for this precious one’s very first family photography session at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, Maryland, just outside Washington DC. Brett was his adorable self, and who could help falling for him and those big blue eyes? Certainly not mom & dad, and certainly not this family photographer! …And especially not after he munched on the grass and had it hanging off his cheeks! John recently finished up a few years in the Army – and is still in the Army reserves – so we made sure to take this opportunity for a few photographs in his uniform with his many medals. As he stood there at attention, a woman walked by and paused to thank him for his service. My thoughts completely… Thank you, John, and thank you, Liz! It was so wonderful to meet you and to be welcomed into this special period of your lives as your baby photographer!
