Memorable Traditions?
What comes to mind when you think of traditional senior portraits? Generic, boring... painful! And then what happens? You go through this whole process just to stuff those senior portraits in a box and re-discover them decades later only to stuff them back in that dusty box.
Now, before I have high school photographers coming after me.... It's not their fault! School photographers are forced to rush in order to capture every student and produce these cookie cutter senior portraits.
Reinventing the Senior Portrait Experience
My goal is to give each student that walks through my studio door, a unique and bespoke experience that they will never forget! I want these senior portrait photography sessions to be specifically tailored to who they are and how they see themselves. After all, they will never be a high school senior ever again! Don't they deserve to remember this historic time of their lives?
Lavender Blooms
I had so much fun planning Lavender's studio senior portrait photography session with her. She decided on two of my absolute favorite props! First were our heavenly angel wings... I can't express enough how grand they are in person yet super soft and light weight... you might just take off flying. If you want to make a statement, this is the way to do it.
Then there was the giant fluffy beanbag!!! You have not experienced fun until you have jumped and rolled around on this beanbag. And it's so soft too.
No More Dusty Box!
Stay tuned for Lavender's finished art products. Her family ended up selecting 2 classic modern framed torn edge prints with suede underlay for family room and staircase, a custom-designed album, and 1 metal wall art for Lavender’s bedroom, which I delivered and hung for them. You won't want to miss how amazing these turned out!
